Restorative Yoga is a powerful practice for physical, mental and emotional well being that utilizes supported postures, meditation and breathing techniques.  This training will not only teach you to lead an effective and safe restorative and restorative flow yoga class, but also how to build your own restorative practice. 

 

Restorative yoga is an amazing tool to have in your repertoire as both a teacher and a student. Your students will benefit greatly from the techniques and practices taught in this course. 

 

Some of the benefits of practicing restorative yoga are:

 

  • Access deep relaxation, 

  • Calm the nervous system,

  • Release muscular tension, 

  • Boost your immune system  

  • Support the body’s natural healing processes

 

In this training, you will learn:

  • Asana and how to use props to support your poses

  • Principles of restorative yoga

  • How to modify and adapt asana for different bodies

  • How to sequence a restorative and restorative flow class

  • How to incorporate elements of restorative yoga into your group and private classes as well as your home practice

  • How to teach a restorative and restorative flow class

  • Relaxation and breathing techniques appropriate for restorative poses

 

Use these 14 hours toward our Yoga Alliance registered 300 Hour Certification OR YA CEU’s (cannot be used for both)

$150 deposit due to register. Tuition must be paid in full prior to the beginnning of training.
