When we read the word conflict, there is an overwhelming sense of it being a bad interaction with another human - a negative connotation follows it like the plague. For many people, just knowing that there is potential for conflict sends them running out the door while others run through the door with weapons drawn.
Conscious Conflict comes from an understanding of yourself and what is acceptable and not acceptable for you. During this course you get to strengthen your self command muscles to shift perspective, to see if there is a way to deepen your relationships and/ or improve the quality of your relationships through sharing what works or doesn’t work for you.
You will practice getting to the root of your problems and communicating our boundaries to yourself and the people around you. You will shift your feels, get clear on your wants and desires, and have vocabulary and skills to ask for what you need and hold even the most difficult people in your life accountable for respecting boundaries - even if that means walking away.
You will learn what conflict is, why you have developed the relationship you have to conflict, and the impact it has on your body. You will learn to shift the relationship to conflict by becoming aware of how you are sabotaged and what you can do to combat those behaviors.
