Clair Thomas is a seasoned yoga instructor and co-owner of Solstice Yoga School in Las Vegas, Nevada. With over 20 years practicing yoga, Clair has extensive experience teaching yoga, giving Reiki, certifying yoga teachers and Reiki practitioners, and consulting yoga and Reiki entrepreneurs on building value-based branding and culture.

Clair's passion for yoga stems from her desire to promote overall well-being and a lifelong commitment to spiritual, physical, and emotional health. She has taught a variety of yoga styles, including hot vinyasa yoga, Hibs Yoga, Reiki restorative, and Budokon yoga, which has led her to brand her own style of yoga that focuses on proper alignment, use of props to enhance the practice, and a focus on both strength and flexibility.

Clair's dedication to the yoga community extends beyond teaching. She coaches yoga teachers and Reiki practitioners and is constantly evolving curriculum development for Solstice Yoga School’s 300-hour yoga teacher training in Las Vegas.

In addition to her work at Solstice Yoga School, Clair has an extensive professional history. She was a teacher for Clark County School District for 13 years. She served as a YTT mentor and yoga teacher at Hibs Yoga Studio from 2014 to 2019 and as a yoga teacher at Anthem Country Club from 2014 to 2015. She was a yoga teacher and group fitness instructor at ClubSport Green Valley from 2012 to 2014. She is currently a yoga teacher and yoga school lead instructor at Solstice Yoga School and a member of the Hope (DV Prevention) Team at UNR Extension.

Clair’s impressive list of certifications include a 300 Hour Advanced YTT from Heba Saab Yoga School in Las Vegas, a 200 Hour Hot Vinyasa YTT from Body Heat Hot Pilates in Henderson, and a Budokon Yoga Teacher Certification. She has also attained Reiki Level I & II Attunements, a Reiki Master Attunement, and a certification as a Body Heat Hot Pilates instructor in Henderson, NV. Additionally, she is an ACE Personal Trainer, a Revo2lution Run Coach, a Certified Positive Intelligence Coach (CPQC), a Precision Nutrition Level 1 coach, and a Certified Biddy Tarot Advisor.

Clair's specialties include yoga philosophy, Ayurveda, mobility, and nutrition. She teaches an infusion of Forrest, Baptiste, and Budokon yoga, featuring her favorite aspects of each. Clair is known for her expertise in yoga philosophy, yama and niyama, communication and boundaries, and good business practices.

What Clair enjoys most about yoga is taking the lessons from the mat into life and learning to live a joyful life through mind mastery and habit transformation. Her approach to teaching is that of a storyteller and puzzle builder, taking different learnings and weaving them together into a beautiful tapestry that is digestible by many.

Outside of yoga, Clair enjoys hiking, camping, horseback riding, game night with friends, and eating amazing food. A fun fact about Clair is that she was born in Germany and believes she was Cuban in a past life.
