Advanced Studies : Asana

Many yoga teachers walk away from their first training with all of the gumption and excitement to teach yet feel completely unclear on what is taking place in the body when teaching specific poses. Though it is not entirely necessary to know which muscles are doing what within a pose, imagine the creativity and safety with which you can create sequences, cues, and intents for your classes when you know in depth knowledge of yoga postures!

This class is for you if you are a yoga teacher that:

• Is looking for deeper understanding of biomechanics, modifications, and key actions of yoga poses
• Wants a deeper dive into the chakras and how they can impact practice and daily life
• Is interested in learning more about applying energetics to your intent for sequencing
• Needs a refresher on the anatomy associated with certain yoga poses and the proper alignment for safety and best benefit

This 40-hour course includes:

• Eleven (11) 90-minute asana practices
• Chakra studies
• Energetics studies
• Asana lab grouped by anatomical alignment 
• CEUs (for registered yoga teachers)
